Funded Hours
At Greatworth Pre-School we ask parents to use the funded hours between 9:am and 3:00pm and for shorter sessions, 9am to 12 or 12 to 3pm. All sessions outside of the funded hours are invoiced and paid within 7 days.

15 Hours Funded Early Education.
All 3 and 4 year olds in England are entitled up to 15 hours of funded early education a week, for 38 weeks of the year.
In our setting, this means that you will be able to start claiming your child’s funded hours at the start of the term which follows your child’s 3rd birthday.
Some 2 year old Children are entitled to 15 Hours of funded Early education a week and this can start from the term after their 2nd birthday. To check eligibility, use the link below.
The 15 hours can be spread across 2 different Early Years Childcare providers allowing you to send your child to more than one setting, if you choose to.

30 Hours Funded Early Education.
Some Children, from the age of 9months, are entitled to 30 hours of funded early education a week, for 38 weeks of the year.
In our setting, this means that you will be able to start claiming your allowance when they start with us from their second birthday, as long as they meet the criteria and have a valid code. Please be aware that Greatworth Pre-School cannot guarantee the full 30 hours if we are at full capacity.
The 30 hours can be spread across 2 different Early Years Childcare providers allowing you to send your child to more than one setting, if you choose to.
